ColaSec is a monthly, informal meeting to learn about Information Security through outside presenters and the shared experience of it’s membership. At each meeting we cover recent security news, upcoming security events, and have a presenter cover a security topic, sometimes deep, sometimes broad, almost always thought provoking and lively. We are not a passive audience, and the meeting organizers frequently lead interrogation of our guest speakers.

In keeping with our goal to freely share our knowledge and experience, ColaSec meetings will always:

  • be free to attend

  • at least have snacks on hand, probably pizza or sandwiches

  • be free of direct sales pitches or product demos

We hope you join us as we share our knowledge, experience, and questions, and feel free to share yours.

Why

Share, learn, and improve.

Who

Security nerds, professionals, and hoodie types.

When and Where

3rd Tuesday of every month at 6PM in Conference Room A of the Richland County Public Library (Main).
